A lot of what makes WyndhamRC feel like a community happens off the flight line — catching up over coffee, swapping notes on a build, or just watching someone else's circuit for a while.
There's no schedule for this part. Members fly most weekend mornings — come say hi at the western end of the car park. Every question you ask helps us learn more about your interest in the sport. We encourage non-flyer membership too, which helps keep WyndhamRC a vibrant community.

Female and male, 8 to 90 — mum, dad, son, daughter, guardian, grandparent, aunty. Everyone's welcome on the field. A new disability-approved toilet was built in late 2026, funded with a $50,000 council small grant. If you have a disability, we're open to finding ways for you to participate in our sport.

Working bees run every three months to help keep the facilities safe, accessible and user-friendly. The field is large, and mowing is a regular demand on our volunteers.
